Hi – and apologies for the delay in getting any news out to you all.
2022 has been a bit of a mixed bag so far – we have released only 2 things:
1 – Enshroudment – “As The Light Is Extinguished” 12inch EP
2 – Grave Altar – “Hell’s Necromancer” demo tape
We’ve also taken the remaining stock of Uncoffined tapes from Chaos Control and are offering them as a double tape-set.
Late in 2022, we secured the CD release of the upcoming Nine Altars album “The Eternal Penance”, which is set for release in March 2023 (depending on vinyl arrival). The promotional video for the title track has proved to be very popular, reaching over 800 view in one week!
Our next planned release will be a charity fundraiser for Alzheimer’s Society, in memory of our good friend Phillip Lloyd-Robertson, who passed away in December 2021.
The release will feature all of the bands in the 1980s that played at the local pub venue The Cyprus Hotel in South Shields, where Phill’s band, Slutt, played. The album will be a digital download and hopefully will grow as we uncover more bands from that era and capture their (very rare) demo tapes that were released.
